Breakfast time - Green Tea

I'm onto a new thing...

Cut out the coffee and in with the GREEN Tea. I actually don't like coffee that much (all of a sudden) but also don't want the caffeine in my system. I feel Green Tea still gives me that get up and go effect.
Yes it still has caffeine, but not nearly the same amount as coffee does.
o sum up, here are just a few medical conditions in which drinking green tea is reputed to be helpful:

* cancer
* rheumatoid arthritis
* high cholesterol levels
* cardiovascular disease
* infection
*impaired immune function


EGCG is a powerful anti-oxidant.
It inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue.It also has property's lowering LDL cholesterol levels, and inhibiting the abnormal formation of blood clots. These blood clots is what causes heart attacks.

Ok, now thats amazing... and also Green Tea:
- Can aid if you wanting to loose weight. Now thats easy and tasty way to speed up your metabolism.

How to brew the perfect cup of Green Tea


* 1 Tea bag per cup.
* Boil cold water in your kettle
* Let the water sit for 2 and half min before adding
* Pour the heated water over the tea bag or tea, Allow to draw for 2 minutes before removing.
* Let the tea for another 2 minutes after that bag has been removed

Go for it!!
Green Tea is an art and a process. Makes the reward of drinking it all the more worth while.

And now for my 1st cup of Green Tea for day ...

Yep green tea is most certainly a more healthy route, my father drinks the stuff in mass quantities. Although I gotta say I'm hooked on good ol fashioned tea...its bad I know, plus sugar content is uber, but hey we gotta get our fix somewhere lol :D

Yes am loving Green Tea. But also go thru stages. Tea was my last stage... I'm sure that you will come over to the 'Green' side in your own time :)
